Sports Rules

1. General Rules

  1. 1.1 Settlement on official results

The outcome of each market is settled upon official determination published by the relevant governing body or authorised source. Bets are settled in accordance with that official result. If the official outcome is announced after bets have been placed, bets placed following the announcement may be voided. For matches decided by the referee or official source after completion, settlement follows the announced result. If the announcement occurs more than 48 hours after the event’s end and undecided bets have been treated as undecided, settlement shall stand on the declared result.

  2. 1.2 Reliance on official results or data

Where the official result is not published, Dada8 may settle bets using recognised data supplied by authorised data providers or, where appropriate, common sources selected by the operator. Such data is binding for settlement purposes unless the official result is subsequently published and contradicts the data used for settlement.

  3. 1.3 Pricing errors and voiding

If a market or price is published with incorrect information or pricing, Dada8 reserves the right to void affected bets. Bets may also be voided where there is a demonstrable error in the event details or odds that would have affected the wager.

  4. 1.4 Market integrity and prohibitions

We reserve the right to void or cancel bets placed in bad faith or to bypass risk controls. This includes attempts to exploit system limits, use duplicate or multiple accounts to place identical bets, or exploit public announcements or confidential information to influence outcomes.

  5. 1.5 Event changes and cancellations

We may cancel all bets if there is a radical change to the event, such as venue, distance, duration, or format, which would materially alter the market outcome. Bets placed prior to such change may be voided at our discretion.

  6. 1.6 Fraud, match fixing and integrity

If there is a reasonable indication of fraud or integrity issues in relation to an event, we may withhold settlement, keep specific bets unsettled, inform the appropriate authorities, and settle or void bets in line with the authorities’ adjudication or definitive findings.

  7. 1.7 System interruptions

In the event of a technical interruption, we will validate funds, price accuracy, and other checks. Customers may be required to re-login and review their bets in the betting history to confirm acceptance status when services resume.

  8. 1.8 Video Assistant Referee (VAR) considerations

If a VAR decision conflicts with the on-pitch decision and changes the state of the match at the time of bet placement, bets affected by the interval between the incident and the final VAR decision may be voided, unless the odds offered for the specific bet remain unaffected or were already accounted for at the time of bet acceptance. Settlement for other unrelated bets remains valid.

  9. 1.9 Odds display and rounding

We display odds to two decimal places for user readability. Totals are calculated using a sixth decimal place for precision, while the total winning amount is truncated to two decimals. Any discrepancy arises from these rounding rules.

  10. 1.10 Settlement window

The maximum interval between initial settlement and any subsequent restatement is 30 days. Within this window, corrections may be applied where appropriate.

  11. 1.11 Final time rules and abandoned events

If a match is officially completed at or after 79:00 of regular time, the full-time result is used for settlement. If the match ends at or before 78:59, undecided markets may be void. In events abandoned or stopped for external reasons, all undecided markets are void unless resumed and completed within a defined extension window published for the event.

  12. 1.12 Supported match formats and duration

We support standard formats including 2x25, 2x30, 2x35, 2x40, 2x45, and 3x30. For matches with a duration below 50 minutes or above 90 minutes, all markets may be voided. For 3x30 format, halftime duration is calculated as half of the total match duration. We do not assume responsibility for unexpected format changes; risk remains with the customer upon registration.

  13. 1.13 Play-or-pay for Outright markets

Outright bets (Winner, Top X, etc.) remain valid regardless of a listed participant’s participation. If a listed participant does not take part, the market is settled as a loss. In the case of a replacement by another participant from the same team, team-related markets stand while individual performance markets for the replaced participant may be void. Heads-to-head (H2H) markets are excluded from this rule.

2. Bet Types and Market Mechanics

  1. 2.1 Core bet types

Single bets are placed on a single event outcome. A M ultiple bet covers multiple unrelated events and only wins if all selections are correct. System bets comprise a set of multiple bets of the same size across multiple outcomes, with payouts calculated for each constituent multi-bet. Conditional bets form a chain where only the main part is paid; the remaining components are settled from the winnings of the main part. Bets that involve related events from the same match may be refunded if the rules identify them as interdependent.

  2. 2.2 Live betting

Live bets are accepted during events on outcomes with undetermined results. Live odds update in real time to reflect on-field developments. Settlements follow the final official results, with live outcomes becoming final at the conclusion of the event. Bets on non-participating athletes are void in live markets unless specified otherwise. Customers must lodge claims for live bets within 24 hours of the event start.

  3. 2.3 Outright and tournament markets

Outright markets resolve irrespective of match-by-match participation, subject to the Play-or-Pay principle. If a participant is replaced within the same team, team markets remain valid while individual markets for the original participant may be void. Dead heat procedures apply where specified in the market description.

3. Sport-Specific Provisions

  1. 3.1 Football (Soccer)
    1. Markets tagged as normal duration settle after the standard 90 minutes plus stoppage time. If the market includes overtime, settlement follows the overtime outcome as described in the market description; penalties are not considered unless explicitly stated.
    2. Kickoff delays or postponed matches remain valid if the event commences within 48 hours; otherwise, open markets may be voided at the operator’s discretion.
    3. Two-legged ties affect only the markets specified for the aggregate result; other markets are settled against the single-match result unless stated otherwise.
  2. 3.2 American Football
    1. All settled markets correspond to the official result at the end of regular time unless the market specifies otherwise. Overtime is included only where the market describes it.
    2. For a result not available, bets may be voided after 48 hours. If a game is moved to a different venue or if home/away designation changes, affected bets are void.
    3. Minimum play duration to establish payout is 55 minutes of a 60-minute game; otherwise, markets are settled as void unless explicitly stated.
  3. 3.3 Athletics
    1. Results are based on the official governing body. If a competitor does not participate or is disqualified, the affected markets are settled as losses unless otherwise specified.
    2. In event abandonment without a declared official winner, the event is void for settlement.
  4. 3.4 Australian Rules Football (AFL)
    1. Markets settle on the official result at the end of the scheduled 80 minutes of play, including any stoppage time but excluding extra time. If a fixture is postponed or abandoned, bets are void unless resumed within 48 hours and an official winner is declared.
    2. Quarter and half markets are determined by the score at the conclusion of the relevant period. Finals series and Grand Final outcomes follow official classifications from the governing body.
  5. 3.5 Badminton
    1. Results are based on the official governing body. If match coverage is lost and no result is published, undecided markets are void. Postponed events must be resumed within 48 hours to retain bets; otherwise, bets are void unless a winner is declared.

4. Eligibility and Conduct

Only individuals of legal age within their jurisdiction may place bets with Dada8. Prohibited participants include those with direct involvement in the events, official representatives of betting entities, and persons acting to gain an unfair advantage. The operator may suspend or terminate accounts found to engage in automated betting, collusion, or other prohibited activity. Completeness and accuracy of account details are the responsibility of the user, and bets placed are final and non-cancelable once accepted by the system.
