AML Program and Objectives
Dada8 maintains an Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing program (the AML Program) designed to comply with all applicable laws and regulatory guidance related to money laundering and the financing of terrorism. The AML Program employs a risk-based approach to detect, deter, and report suspicious activity across onboarding, account operation, and transactional activity.
Scope and Application
This policy governs the conduct of all customers and all transactions processed through the Dada8 platform, including deposits, wagers, withdrawals, and related financial activity. The objectives include the prevention of illicit funding, the protection of the integrity of the gaming platform, and the safeguarding of customer information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Compliance with Law and Geographic Access
By registering for and using Dada8 services, you warrant that you are in a jurisdiction where online gambling is lawful and accessible. Dada8 reserves the right to restrict access or suspend services for any person or in any jurisdiction where such access or use would be unlawful or prohibited by applicable law. We may also suspend or close a customer account if there are reasonable grounds to suspect non-compliance with applicable laws or this AML Program.
Know Your Customer (KYC) and Identity Verification
Onboard and ongoing verification information shall be collected in order to identify the customer and assess risk. On registration you must provide:
- Full legal name
- Date of birth
- Residential address
- Nationality
- Contact details (e.g., email, phone)
Identity verification may be performed electronically at first. If electronic verification is inconclusive or not possible, you may be required to submit documentary evidence (e.g., government-issued identity document and proof of address). Where required, you will be given a reasonable period to provide such documentation, not to exceed 72 hours from request. Verification must confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Until verification is complete, onboarding or withdrawal requests may be suspended.
If verification determines that a customer is under the legal gambling age, all winnings and bonuses may be forfeited, and the account may be closed. We may perform random security checks at any time and may request additional documentation to verify identity, age, or place of residence.
We may record and monitor communications with customers for security and compliance purposes.
Source of Funds and Financial Background
We require information about the source of funds used for deposits and the purpose of gaming activity. In particular, we may request documentation such as bank statements, payslips, tax documents, or other information sufficient to demonstrate that funds originate from legitimate sources. You shall provide such information promptly upon request. We may use this information to perform a risk assessment and to ensure compliance with AML requirements.
Ongoing Monitoring and Enhanced Due Diligence
Dada8 continuously monitors customer accounts for unusual or potentially suspicious activity, including abnormal deposit patterns, rapid or large changes in gaming activity, or funds transfers inconsistent with known profile. Customers presenting elevated risk, including politically exposed persons (PEPs) or those from high-risk jurisdictions, may be subject to enhanced due diligence, extended verification, or additional documentation requirements. We will update risk classifications as needed and notify customers of significant changes where required by law.
Transaction Monitoring, Reporting, and Cooperation with Authorities
All transactions are monitored for compliance with AML rules. We will report suspicious activity and comply with lawful requests from competent authorities. In the event of suspected illicit activity, we may freeze or block funds, restrict wagering, or terminate access to the account while investigations proceed. You agree to cooperate with any such investigation, including providing information and documentation as reasonably requested.
Data Protection, Privacy, and Record Keeping
Dada8 processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. We retain records related to customer identity, verification, source of funds, high-risk determinations, and transaction data for as long as required by applicable law and regulatory guidance. Access to retained information is limited to authorized personnel and contractors under strict confidentiality obligations. Data may be transferred to third-party service providers for processing in connection with AML compliance, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Account Security and User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and for all activity conducted through your account. You must promptly notify Dada8 of any suspected unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate access if there is evidence of security compromise or non-compliance with AML requirements.
Rights to Suspend, Restrict, or Close Accounts
In the event of AML concerns, non-compliance, or verification difficulties, Dada8 reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or close a customer account, void pending or potential winnings, or withhold funds until all AML and verification requirements are satisfied.
Amendments, Notifications, and Communication
Dada8 may amend this AML Program from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels in accordance with regulatory obligations. Continued use of the services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated AML Program.
